1775 BATTLES OF LEXINGTON AND CONCORD:
From “History of the town of Medford” by Charles Brooks et. al.: Private Jonathan Teel, along with his brother Sgt. Gersham Teel, were on the muster-roll for Captain Isaac Hall’s company of Medford militia. “This company came out,” said the adjutant-general, “on the 19th of April, 1775, and were in service five days, and were undoubtedly in the battles of Lexington and Concord.” (NAMES MAY BE VIEWED AT “Memorial dedicated to the Medford Minute Men Hillside Ave. and High St. Medford, Mass. 02155”)
