EPHRIAM FROST, son of Ephriam and Sarah, born July 10, 1715 was Captain of the Monotomy Trainband (a militia company) in 1771 and 1776. He was Selectman of Cambirdge in 1758-60-61-63-68-72-77. Was a member of an improtant Revolutionary Committee and Precinct Assessor the same period. He was member of the Convention of Middlesex County at Concord, Aug 30 -31, 1774. He married Mary, daughter of Deacon John Cutter, grandaughter of William Cutter, and great granddaughter of Richard Cutter, the emigrant. She died October 30, 1805. Ephriam resided on the homestead in Belmont, Mass and died March 5, 1797.

1790 CENSUS, CAMBRIDGE, MIDDLESEX, MA: Household of Ephm Frost includes two adults over age 16. Nearby are sons “Ephm Jr” and “Amos”. And many other “Frost” and “Cutter” families.

The “Abstract of Graves of Revolutionary Patriots, Vol. 2” indicates his grave is in the Old Burial Ground, Arlington, MA. A photo of his memorial can be located at www.findagrave.com. It reads “In memory of Capt. EPHRIAM FROST who departed this life 5th March 1799 aged 84 years”.
