Mr. W. Dale Greene, 93, of Mocksville, died Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.
He was born March 1, 1915 in Watauga County, a son of the late William Johnson and Ada Coffey Greene.
Mr. Greene was a retired dairy farmer, and also worked for H. Rockwell & Son Feed Service in Pennsylvania for many years.
Survivors include his wife of 71 years, Pauline Greene; two daughters, Sharon Harbac of Newark Valley, New York, and Norma Wilcox of Canton, Pa.; and one son, Randy Greene of Mocksville.
He is also survived by ten grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
Services were conducted Friday afternoon, March 28, 2008, at 2:00, at Bethany Lutheran Church. Burial followed in Old Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
