The History of the Rucker Family (Whitley, p129) indicates that she married Thomas Dalton. Timothy Dalton, son of Reuben Dalton and Nancy Elizabeth Shockley, was born in 1810 in Tennessee. Timothy died in Grainger Co., TN in 1863.

Jacob died in Grainger Co., TN in February 1875 and was buried at Old Hipsher Cemetery in Thorn Hill, Grainger Co., TN in February 1875 .2576,2577
