HIGH POINT - Mrs. Ollie Jean Owen, 76, of 1708-C N. Centennial St. died June 7, 1993, at High Point Regional Hospital.

There will be no service. Burial will be at a later date in Lexington Cemetery.

A native of Boone, she was a graduate of Appalachian State, was a teacher for Lexington City Schools, Davidson County Schools, and GTCC. She was active with the High Point Community Theater, and a member of First United Methodist Church.

There are no immediate survivors.

Ollie Jean Coffey and Theodore Norman Owen were married on 18 June 1941 in Watauga Co., NC.37050 Theodore Norman Owen, son of William Stanley Owen and Elizabeth Cornelia Norman, was born on 7 June 1897 in North Carolina. Theodore died in Lexington, Davidson Co., NC on 8 April 1971 and was buried at Lexington City Cemetery in Lexington, Davidson Co., NC on 9 April 1971 .37051,37052
