Harville, Laura Bell Coffey born November 29, 1909 passed way December 29, 1983 at the age of 74 years and one month She was the daughter of Charlie and Susan ( McDaniel ) Coffey. She professed faith in Christ at an early age and joined the Oak Hill Baptist Church[. She] later moved her membership to Bridge Port Missionary Baptist church where she remained a member until death.

She married Rev. Gus Harville and to union were born 9 children, one daughter Dorsie Harville preceded in death. She is survived by her husband, Rev. Gus Harville, six sons Jack, L. C., Elum, " Tobby ", Robert and Rev. Coy Harville: two daughters, Mrs. Clora Dalton and Mrs. Ruth Dalton. 25 grandchildren, 15 great grand children, one brother, Enos Coffey; one sister, Alice Shockley; and host of nieces and nephew, and friends.

Funeral services were held at Bridge Port Church Jan. 1, 1984 with Rev. Lester Dalton and Rev. Robert Smith, and Rev. Avery Dalton officiating. Singers were Dalton and Rucker Quarter. Burial in the McGinnis- Harrell Cemetery.

HARVILLE, ROY R., age 78, of Bean Station passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at Life Care Center of Morristown. He was a deacon and member of Freedom Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Bean Station for a number of years. He professed his faith at an early age and was a faithful and dedicated member of his church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; the Rev. Gus and Bell (Coffey) Harville; brothers, L.C. and Elum Harville; sisters, Clora Dalton and Dorcie Harville. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Geneva (Carpenter) Harville; daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Ron Schwarz of Panama City Beach, Fla.; Donna and Dave Garman and Debbie and Rick Waddell of Franklin, Ohio; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; brothers, Coy Harville of Bean Station, Jack Harville of Thorn Hill and Robert Harville of Middletown, Ohio and sister, Minnie Dalton of Thorn Hill.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Freedom Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Curt Reed, the Rev. Leonard Dalton and the Rev. Leonard Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-9 p.m. Friday, April 6, 2007 in the chapel of Mayes Mortuary.
