11097. Glen Gibson (Griffin?) Coffey was born on 23 September 1923 in Texas. He died of heart failure on 14 December 1973 at the age of 50 at home in Kerrville, Kerr Co., TX and was buried at Tarpley Cemetery in Tarpley, Bandera Co., TX on 18 December 1973.32319,32320,32321

His marriage record to Myrtle gives his middle name as Gibson while his death certificate gives it as Griffin. I have not actually viewed the marriage record but suspect Gibson is in error and the death certificate is accurate.

Glen Gibson (Griffin?) Coffey and Myrtle Eva Mae Pichot were married on 17 August 1968 in Bandera Co., TX.32322 Myrtle Eva Mae Pichot was born on 8 November 1918 in Hondo, Medina Co., TX. Myrtle died in Bandera, Bandera Co., TX on 12 March 2014 and was buried at Tarpley, Bandera Co., TX on 15 March 2014.32323

Eva Mae Brown, 95 of Bandera, passed away on March 12, 2014 in Bandera. She was born in Hondo to Adolph Albert Pichot and Minnie Eva Bendele on November 8, 1918. She married M.B. Padgett in 1937 and he passed at the young age of 49, leaving her a widow. She then married Archie Zane Brown in 1971 in Uvalde.

She went to school in Hondo and retired from Golff's Twix and Teen of Uvalde. She was involved in the Eastern Star, hospital volunteer work and Helping Hands, and also enjoyed making other patients days a little brighter in the Bandera Rehab Center.

Eva Mae Brown is preceded in death by her parents, Adolph and Minnie Pichot; 3 brothers, George, Homer and Charlie Pichot; and husbands, M.B. Padgett and A.Z. Brown.

She is survived by her son, Bob and his wife, Nita Padgett; grandchildren, Troy and his wife, Mary Padgett, Sheri and her husband, Kenny Alf, Troy Walker, Becky and her husband, Steve Stoops; and 7 great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Adell Doll Burger and Adabell and her husband, Frankie Carrasco.

Services will be held 3 PM, Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Grimes Funeral Chapels in Bandera with burial following at Tarpley Cemetery, with Rev. Ken Dahlberg, officiating.

Pallbearers were Kenny Alf, Steve Stoops, Dr. Dick Sisk, Rob Sandidge, Troy Padgett and Dave Aldridge.

Memorials may be given to the Tarpley Cemetery Association, Box 93, Tarpley, TX 78883.
