Lula Frances Scott, 87, Columbia, KY, died Sunday, November 30, 2008, at 10:15pm, at Campbellsville Retirement Home.

The funeral service is Wednesday, December 3, 2008, at 1:00 pm CT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Rev. Elbert Hadley officiating. Burial will be in Haven Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:30 pm Tuesday, December 2, 2008.

She was the daughter of the late Wesley and Lillie Keltner Coffey, the widow of Vernon Scott, and a member of the Columbia Baptist Church.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Finis, Taft, Sam, and Titus "Short" Coffey, and one sister, Bernice Burton.

Survivors are as follows: One son and daughter in law: James and Frances Scott, Loganville, GA

COLUMBIA - Vernon Scott, 70, of Route 1, a retired farmer, husband of Lula Scott, died Sunday at Westlake Cumberland Hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Grissom-Maupin-Heskamp-Morrison Funeral Home. Visitation will be anytime today and before services Wednesday.
