Winnie Lucille Coffey Hartley, age 92, of Lenoir, died Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care in Lenoir. She was born June 12, 1924 in Watauga County to the late Milton L. and Velma Penley Coffey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Rhymer Hartley; a son, Dennis Edward Hartley; six brothers and five sisters.

Mrs. Hartley was retired from Kincaid Furniture.

Survivors include three sons, Ronard V. Hartley and wife Loretta, Walter J. Hartley and wife Darlene and Ken T. Hartley and wife Brenda all of Lenoir; two sisters, Mozelle Carpenter of Hickory and Jeanette McNeil of Lenoir; eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Paul Duncan. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 P.M. on Tuesday, August 21, 2016 at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Kenny Hartley, Mike Enloe, Garrett Morris, Ray Sherrill, Kasey Chatman, Christopher Beach and honorary pallbearer, Terrell Goble.

Hartley and Maude Elizabeth Rhymer, was born in 1925 in Yadkin Valley, Caldwell Co., NC.³⁰⁶⁴¹ Carl died in Yadkin Valley, Caldwell Co., NC in 1997.³⁰⁶⁴²
