Mrs. Florence Coffey Woodruff, 79, homemaker, died Nov. 14, 1990, at Caldwell Memorial Hospital. Funeral is 2 p.m. Saturday at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home. Visitation is 7 to 8:30 tonight.

Survivors are her sons, Eugene Coffey of Germanton, Howard Woodruff, Roy Woodruff; daughters, Mrs. Mary Ritter of Campo, Calif., Mrs. Shirley Mull, Ms. Lanie Jobe; brothers, Harrison Coffey, Edgar Coffey; sister, Mrs. Maggie Earp. LEXINGTON - Mrs. Bevie Smith Todd Tysinger

He lived with his parents John and Sarah in Globe Twp., Caldwell Co., NC on 20 April 1910. Eugene enlisted in the on 22 March 1944 at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.³⁶⁰⁵⁸ Eugene died in Winston-Salem, Forsyth Co., NC on 12 July 1983 and was buried at Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery in Lenoir, Caldwell Co., NC on 14 July 1983 .^{36059,36060,36061}

She was born April 4, 1937 in Caldwell County the late Eugene Y. and Florence Coffey Woodruff. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, David Williams Collins; a brother, Bobby Woodruff and two sisters, Goldie Soots and Sissy Woodruff. Mrs. Mull was a waitress at Smith Crossroads Restaurant for many years and was a member of Zacks Fork Baptist Church where she was a teacher in the nursery department. Survivors include her husband, Fred C. Mull of the home; a son, David Collins of Lenoir; three daughters, Ms. Jackie Collins, Mrs. Wanda Staley and Mrs. Tim (Audrey) Storie all of Lenoir; two brothers, Howard Woodruff and Roy Woodruff both of Lenoir; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Ritter of Ash Fork, Ariz. and Ms. Lanie Jobe of Lenoir; six grandchildren and one great-grandson, Justin Triplett. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 22, 2004, at 2 p.m. at Zacks Fork Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Wayne F. Borders. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home and Crematory.
