Walton Lee

Walton Hill Lee, 89, of Bradford St., Lenoir, died Saturday, Nov. 8, 2003, at Caldwell County Hospice.

He was born April 29, 1914, in Caldwell County to the late John Hill Lee and Bessie Coffey Lee. He was also preceded in death by a son, Douglas Hill Lee; two brothers, Horace Lee and Robert "Bob" Lee, and two sisters, Helen Presnell and Edith Robbins.

He was a farmer and carpenter and a furniture worker. He was a very avid Bible reader, and a U.S. Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Hazel Hayes Lee of the home; one son, Clarence Anthony "Toney" Lee of Lenoir; two daughters, Mrs. Richard N. "Jean Lee" Morris of Cheraw, S.C. and Mrs. Junior "Pat Lee" Trivette of Lenoir; 13 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

The funeral was Monday at Pendry's Funeral Home with the Revs. Richard Morris, Don Slizewski and Gary Lee officiating. Burial was in Blue Ridge Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: McRay Robbins, Jeff Smith, Terry Kincaid, Ned Hayes, Ralph Trivette, David Hollar, Edward Robbins and Johnny Trivette.

Memorials may be made to: Caldwell County Hospice, 902 Kirkwood St., Lenoir, NC 28645; or to any Children's Charity of choice.

Clarence "Toney" Lee was born on 27 February 1945 in Yadkin Valley, Caldwell Co., NC. Clarence died in Lenoir, Caldwell Co., NC on 24 April 2004.

Clarence Lee

Clarence "Toney" Lee, 59, of Bradford Street, Lenoir died Saturday, April 24, 2004 at his residence.

He was born Feb. 27, 1945 in Caldwell County to Hazel Hayes Lee of Lenoir and the late Walton Hill Lee. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Hill Lee.

Mr. Lee was a retired manager and loan officer and was a veteran of the U.S. Army - Vietnam.

Survivors include a son, Anthony "Shane" Lee of Greensboro, N.C.; a daughter, Rachel Goff Barton of Brevard, N.C.; two sisters, Jean Lee Morris of Cheraw, S.C. and Pat Lee Trivette of Lenoir.

Receiving and memorial service will be Wednesday, April 28, 2004 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Pendry's Funeral Home with the Elder Richard Morris officiating.
