Mrs. Coffey was a homemake and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Survivors include her husband, Carl Junior Coffey of the home; two sons, Michael E. Crisp and William K. Coffey, both of Lenoir; two daughters, Sharon Gill and Karen Lackey, both of Lenoir; four brothers, Victor Crisp, Arnold Crisp, Carl Crisp and Ray Crisp, all of Lenoir, two sisters, Sarah Chester of Lenoir and Margarel [sic], Gragg of Linville; and seven grandchildren. The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints conducted by the president, William Claude Cogdell and Elder James Pate.
