Mrs. A. B. Aldridge

Mrs. A. B. (Rosa Lee) Aldridge, 59, 2114 South Yakima avenue, died Wednesday at a local hospital. Born in North Carolina, she came here 26 years ago. Her memberships included the Temple Baptist church. Surviving are her husband, a son Jerome of Tacoma; daughter, Mrs. Beulah Sandful of Tacoma; three grandchildren, two brothers, Jesse L Coffey and Stanford [sic] [Sanford] Coffee [sic] of North Carolina; three sisters, Mrs. M[i]llie Bell Williams of Tennessee and Mrs. Ethel Berry and Miss Mae Coffey and a stepmother, Mrs. Fillmore Coffey, all of North Carolina. The C. O. Lynn company will make the funeral arrangements.

Blaine Aldridge

Blaine Aldridge, 63, 2114 South Yakima Avenue, died Wednesday morning in a local hospital. He was a native of North Carolina and had lived in Tacoma for 25 years. Until his retirement two years ago he was an operating engineer for the Pioneer Sand and Gravel company. He was a member of the Engineers' union. Surviving are his son, Jerry; daughter, Mrs. Buelah Sandaul, Puyallup; four brothers, K. Aldridge, Kingsport, Tenn.; Len, Banner Elk, N.C.; John, Boone, N.C., and Harry, Richmond, Calif.; four sisters, Mrs. Myra Wagner, Princeton, N.C,; Mrs. Snow Gragg and Mrs. Ethel Wyke, both of Boone and Mrs. Minerva Galloway, Shauls [sic] [Shulls] Mills, N.C., and three grandchildren. Funeral announcement will be made by C. O. Lynn.

Jerry Aldridge, retired license director, dies

Jerome (Jerry) M. Aldridge, 71, of 6527 S. I St., retired license director for Pierce County, died yesterday.

Born in Boone, N.C., he had lived here for the past 60 years. He was former owner of Union Cleaners.

Mr. Aldridge was a member of the Tacoma Elks Lodge, the Tacoma Eagles Lodge, the Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite Bodies, Alifi Temple of the Shrine and the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Helen, a son, Jerry Aldridge of Auburn; a sister, Pat Fandel of Puyallup; and two grandchildren.

Mountain View Funeral Homes is in charge.
