He was born April 1, 1938 in Caldwell County to Pansy Braswell Coffey of Lenoir and the late Lone Dallas Coffey. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Archie and Lee Coffey. Mr. Coffey was retired form Broyhill Furniture of Lenoir and was a member of Freedom Baptist Church in Newton. Survivors include his mother; spouse, Nancy Annas Coffey of Granite Falls; two sons and daughters-in-law, Keith and Teresa Coffey of Granite Falls and Rick and Dina Coffey of Conover; a daughter and son-in-law, Joey and Paula Lowman of Granite Falls and seven grandchildren, Jonathan, Scott, Susan, Andrea and Erin Coffey, Jacob and Johnna Lowman. Funeral services will be held today, Feb. 7, at 3 p.m. at Grandview Park Baptist Church with the Rev. R. M. "Bo" Caulder Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends today, Feb. 7, from 2 to 3 p.m. at 2553 Grandview Circle. Pallbearers will be David Summerow, Keith Yount, Barry Carsey, David Parker, Greg Coffey and John Capps. The funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, July 23, 2017, at Pendry's Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Raymond Spann and the Rev. Bo Caulder officiating. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Park. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Nancy was an organist at Grandview Park Baptist Church for many years and served there faithfully. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Dallas Coffey, and brothers Foy, R.A., and the Rev. Mack Annas. She leaves to cherish her memories her sons, Keith (Teresa) Coffey of Granite Falls, and Ricky (Dina) Coffey of Newton; daughter, Paula (Joey) Lowman of Gamewell; brother, the Rev.
