Margaret died on 19 June 2004 at the age of 61 in Boone, Watauga Co., NC and was buried at Mountlawn Memorial Park and Gardens in Boone, Watauga Co., NC.48218

Mrs. Margaret Triplett Coffey, 61, of Boone, died Saturday night, June 19, 2004 at home.

She was born Jan. 27, 1943 in Triplett, Watauga County, to the late Palmer R. and Ila Miller Triplett.

She was a graduate of Patterson High School and a retired seamstress with Levi Strauss in Mountain City, Tenn. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, William Grayson Coffey, of the home; one son, Joey Coffey, of Patterson; one granddaughter, Kanessa Hamby; one great granddaughter, Chanler Hamby and one great-grandson, Caleb Barker, all of Boone; one sister, Betty Spina and husband, Jack of Lottsburg, Va.; two brothers, Frank Miller of Warsaw, Va. and Claude Triplett of Granite Falls; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Homer and Ersal Coffey, of Boone. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted this morning (Tuesday) at 11 a.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Boone, officiated by Dr. Kenneth Craig. Burial followed in Mount Lawn Memorial Park and Gardens.

Hampton Funeral Service in Boone was in charge of arrangements.
