JEWEL C. SULLIVAN

LENOIR - Mrs. Jewel Coffey Sullivan, 82, of Watchout Lane, died Sunday, Jan. 1, 2006, at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care.

A native of Caldwell County, Mrs. Sullivan was a daughter of the late John Finley and Lucy Bean Andrews, and the wife of Jerry Sullivan of the home.

Mrs. Sullivan retired from Southern Bell Telephone Co. and was a member of Lower Creek Baptist Church.

Other than her husband, she is survived by two sisters, Pauline Andrews Lanni of Santa Paula, Calif., and Barbara Andrews Lovins of Lenoir; one brother, George Lowell Andrews and wife, Sue, of Hickory; six nieces; Brenda Andrews of Hickory, Luci Teague and Amy L. Coffey of Lenoir, Judy Page and Nancy McRary of Connelly Springs and Lisa Andrews of Valdese; five nephews, Keith Andrews of Waynesville, James Andrews of Georgia and Kent Lovins, Charles K. Lovins and Greg Lovins of Lenoir; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Finley T. Coffey; her niece, Martha Phenix; and two nephews, Kenneth Hayes and Bill Andrews.
The funeral service for Mrs. Sullivan will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2006, at Lower Creek Baptist Church by the Revs. Bert Blackburn and Bob Parmley.
Burial will follow in Belleview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends tonight, Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2006, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Evans Funeral Service in Lenoir, and at other times at the home of Mark and Amy Coffey, 3115 Lyndhurst Drive, (Beacon Hills), Lenoir.

Pallbearers will be Kent Lovins, Charles K. Lovins, Greg Lovins, Donnie Lovins, Josh Lovins and Mark Coffey II.

Memorials may be made to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care, 902 Kirkwood St., NW, Lenoir, N.C. 28645.
