BULLS GAP-Wager W. Dalton, age 65, Bulls Gap died Friday, March 11, 2005 at his son's home following a lengthy illness. 

He was of the Baptist faith. 

He was preceded in death by his son, Terry Kim Dalton; grandson, Scott Dalton; parents, Ralph and Birdie Dalton; sisters Ora Jessee and Drama Brewer and brothers, Sherman Scearce and Rue and Dean Dalton. 

He is survived by his son, Tim and wife, Brenda Dalton, Bulls Gap; daughter, Stephanie Dalton, Bulls Gap; grandchildren, Amanda and husband Eric Clayton and Kaylyn Dalton; granddaughter-in-law, Jessica Dalton; great-grandchildren, Timothy Dalton and Jayde Clayton; brothers, B.L. and wife, Jane Dalton, New Tazewell and Gordon Dalton, Atlanta, GA and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, March 13, 2005 at Claiborne Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Sexton officiating. Music was provided by the Walking By Faith Singers. Graveside services were conducted Monday, March 14, 2005 in the Burch cemetery. Pallbearers were Danny Talley, Doug Dalton, Eddie Brogan, Jess Chapman, Eric Clayton and Lonnie Coffey. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Claiborne Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses. 

Claiborne Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
