Graveside services for Elizabeth M. Wormley, 87, of Minco, were held on Friday, February 18, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. in Minco's Evergreen Cemetery. Rev David Mercer of the Minco United Methodist Church officiated under the direction of the Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home of Minco.

Wormley was born on June 21, 1917 in Minco to Lee Thomas and Isis Orpha (Windfrey) Coffey and died Tuesday, February 15, 2005 in Yukon.

She moved back to Minco in 1977 and was a member of the Minco United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit #215 in Minco. She retired as a secretary for Clark Equipment Company.

On October 29, 1954, she married Gordon C. "Tub" Wormley in Aurora, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents; by a brother; and by her husband on October 23, 2001. She is survived by a host of relatives and friends.

Memorials in her honor may be made to the American Legion Children's Home at 1300 Summer Place, Ponca City, Oklahoma 74604.

Elizabeth Mae Coffey and Gordon C. "Tub" Wormley were married on 29 October 1954 in Aurora, Kane Co., IL. Gordon C. "Tub" Wormley was born on 13 April 1912 in Oswego, Kendall Co., IL. Gordon died on 23 October 2001 at the age of 89 in Chickasaw, Grady Co., OK and was buried at Evergreen Cemetery in Minco, Grady Co., OK on 26 October 2001.1509,31531,31532

GORDON C. "TUB" WORMLEY

Graveside services for Gordon C. "Tub" Wormley will be at 2 p.m., Friday, October 26, 2001, at Evergreen Cemetery, Minco. Officiating will be Rev. Chuck Dollarhide of the Minco United Methodist Church. Services are under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home, Minco.

He was born April 13, 1912, at Oswego, Illinois, the son of Orvill L. and Jennie (Hubbard) Wormley, and died October 23, 2001, at Grady Memorial Hospital in Chickasha.

He married Elizabeth M. Coffey on October 29, 1954. Elizabeth survives him in death.

Gordon came to Minco in 1976 from Oswego, Illinois. He was a veteran of WWII and the Korean Conflict and retired as a plumbing and electrical contractor. He was a 55-year and life member of the American Legion and life member of the VFW.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Lloyd Wormley; and a sister, Gertie Wormley Heffelfinger.
