William Vance Coffey, 87, of 1296 Love Memorial School Road, died Dec. 22, 2004. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at River View Baptist Church with burial following in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Warlick Funeral Home.

Born in Lincoln County, he was a former Duke Power employee and veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II and participating in the invasion of Normandy.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Kiser Coffey, of the home; two sons, William Douglas Coffey of the home and Nick Coffey of Lincolnton; one daughter, Barbara C. Dudley of Lincolnton; one sister, Juanita Dysart of Lincolnton; and five grandchildren, Chris Coffey, Angela McCammon, Olivia Dudley, Rachel Dudley and Allen Dudley.

William Douglas Coffey, 60, formerly of Laboratory Road, Lincolnton, died Jan. 19, 2007.

Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Riverview Baptist Church. The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the funeral. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

He was a native of Lincoln County.

Survivors include his mother, Evelyn Kiser Coffey of Lincolnton, a brother, Nick Coffey; and a sister, Barbara Dudley.
