HOPE — Consuelo V. Coffey, 84, of Ramona, died Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2008, at Enterprise Estates Nursing Center in Enterprise.

She was born Jan. 15, 1924, in Mexico, the daughter of Luis Yepiz Coronado and Prima Vegade Yepiz.

She married Boyde A. Coffey on Dec. 1, 1972, in California. They made their home in Ramona. He preceded her in death on June 5, 2002. She lived in Mexico and California before moving to Ramona in 1980.

She worked at the Lutheran Home in Herington.

Mrs. Coffey was a member of the Rosebank Brethren in Christ Church, rural Hope.

Survivors include a son, Clifford P. Coffey of California; a daughter, Ginger Fant of California; a son-in-law, six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and other relatives.

She also was preceded in death by a daughter Judith Wingerd in 1992.

Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, 2008, at the Rosebank Cemetery, Hope, with the Rev. Shane Britt officiating.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Carlson-Becker Funeral Home in Hope, where friends may call from 8:30 a.m. Tuesday until time of service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Rosebank Cemetery and left at the funeral home.
