Va to Taylor and Reddie Dalton [sic] Blankenship. Mr. Blankenship was of the Catholic faith and was retired from the U.S. Army. After his retirenent he worked in the restaurant business. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Juanita Griffin Blankenship of Winston-Salem; two sons, Roy Lee Blankenship; three daughters, Shirley B. Willard, Faith Yvonne blankenship and Donna Denise Blankenship, all of Winston-Salem; seven grandchildren; and a special friend, Barbara J. Kidd of Winston-Salem. A memorial service will be 7:30 p.m. Monday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel by Father Connall McHugh. Military rites will be given by district 11 memorial Honor Guard following the service.
