CRAWFORD, Ozella Coffey, 87, of Buena Vista, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 30, 1999 at Richfield Nursing Center in Salem. She was born May 17, 1911 and is survived by her husband of 69 years, Frank C. Crawford of Buena Vista; her sister, Martha Dooley of Roanoke; her nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her three children, Albert Crawford, Robbie Campbell and Sheila Campbell, three sisters, Ida Bradley, Lutie Crawford and Ethel Campbell, and four brothers, Rufus Coffey, Robert Coffey, Hamilton Coffey and Sailor Coffey. Mrs. Crawford was a homemaker and a member of the Blue Ridge Baptist Church. The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday, May 3, 1999 at the Lomax Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Art Brumit officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, May 2, 1999 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Lomax Funeral Home.

Mary Ozella Coffey and Franklin Charles "Charlie" Crawford were married. Franklin Charles "Charlie" Crawford was born in 1906. Franklin died in Virginia in 1999 and was buried at Green Hill Cemetery in Buena Vista, Independent City, VA in 1999 .42230

Albert Lee Crawford was born on 4 March 1930 in Amherst Co., VA. Albert died on 17 November 1997 at the age of 67 at home in Stony Run, Rockbridge Co., VA and was buried at Green Hill Cemetery in Buena Vista, Independent City, VA on 19 November 1997.

Albert Lee Crawford

Albert Lee Crawford, 67, died Monday, Nov. 17, at his home near Stony Run in Rockbridge Co.

He was born March 4, 1939, in Amherst County, son of Franklin C. Crawford and Mary Ozella Coffey Crawford, both now of Buena Vista. He was married to Ernestine Robinson Crawford and was an automobile mechanic.

In addition to his parents and his wife, he is survived by four daughters, Rachel Milne of Pioneer Town, Calif., Delores Crawford of Stafford, Carol Clark of Alexandria and Karen Crawford of Woodbridge; three sons, Albert Crawford of Lorton and Edward Crawford of Woodbridge; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today, Wednesday, at Lomax Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Art Brumit. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Rockbridge Area Hospice.
