Nelson M. Coffey

Buena Vista, May 19 - Nelson McKinley Coffey, 60, died today in a Lexington hospital.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Thompson Coffey; two sons, Lewis Coffey; Aubrey Coffey, Buena Vista; two daughters, Mrs. Alfred Webb, Mrs. Frank Mull, both of Natural Bridge; two brothers, Clarence Coffey, Covington; Hardy Coffey, Amherst County; a sister, Mrs. C. B. Sandidge, Buena Vista.

Funeral will be Wednesday at 3 p.m. at First Brethren Church here. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery.

Nelson McKinley Coffey and Mary Catherine Thompson were married. They appeared in the census on 10 May 1940 in Pedlar Dist., Amherst Co., VA.42673 Mary Catherine Thompson was born on 4 September 1900. Mary died on 1 May 1980 at the age of 79 in Virginia and was buried at Green Hill Cemetery in Buena Vista, Independent City, VA.42674,42675
