I have seen other reports that show Jeptha married to Mary E. Winkler, born 17 Feb. 1862 in Hancock Co., TN. They had child Gideon Joseph Wolfe, born 4 Jul. 1884 in Hancock Co.

Jeptha Harrison Wolfe and Mary were married circa 1880. They appeared in the census on 6 June 1900 in Wallowa, Wallowa Co., OR.²⁶⁹⁷⁷ Mary was born in February 1862 in Tennessee.

Jeptha Harrison Wolfe and Mary had the following children:
