North Wilkesboro, Sept. 26--Jacob Patrick, 81, a retired farmer of the Vannoy community, died Thursday in a rest home in Winston-Salem. He was born in Wilkes County. surviving are his wife, Mrs. Emmaline Patrick of Vannoy; three sons, Earl Patrick of McCain, Clayton Patrick of Miami, Fla., and Carl Patrick of Lincolnton; three daughters, Mrs. Raymond Kimball, Mrs. R. G. Bauguss [sic] and Mrs. B. B. Gray of Winston-Salem; 21 grandchildren; three sisters, Ms. Walter Lyalls [sic] and Mrs. Marshall Wingler of West Jefferson and Mrs. Frank Wingler of Vannoy. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at Miller Presbyterian Church by the Rev. K. B. Farrington. Burial will be in the Miller Cemetery.

Jacob C. Patrick and Martha Ann Wyatt were married. Martha Ann Wyatt was born on 21 September 1875 in Vannoy, Wilkes Co., NC. Martha died in Vannoy, Wilkes Co., NC on 14 July 1924 and was buried at Olde Garden Cemetery in Millers Creek, Wilkes Co., NC in July 1924 .15034
