Etta Hollander and Coleman Columbus Coffey were married on 19 December 1941 in Boone, Watauga Co., NC.36892 Coleman Columbus Coffey, son of Joseph Daniel Coffey and Jodie Coffey, was born on 17 April 1919 in Wilson Creek Twp., Avery Co., NC. He lived with his parents in Wilson Creek Twp., Avery Co., NC on 20 January 1920. He lived with his parents in Wilson Creek Twp., Avery Co., NC on 8 April 1930. Coleman died in Winston-Salem, Forsyth Co., NC on 6 November 1989 and was buried at Hollander Family Cemetery in Roseborough, Avery Co., NC in November 1989 .36893

Larry Wayne Coffey was born on 11 April 1942 in North Carolina. Larry died on 14 October 2009 at the age of 67 at Veterans Administration Hospital in Asheville, Buncombe Co., NC and was buried at Hollander Family Cemetery in Roseborough, Avery Co., NC on 17 October 2009.36894

Larry Wayne Coffey

Larry Wayne Coffey, age 67, of Newland passed away on Wednesday October 14, 2009 at the VA Medical Center in Asheville. He was born April 11, 1942 a son of the late Coleman and Etta Gragg Coffey. Larry was a member of VFW Pat Ray Post and was a former member of the United States Army .
He also enjoyed listening to Country music and playing golf.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by: two brothers, Frank Coffey and Gordon Gragg; and a sister, Norma Lee Coffey.

Left to cherish his memories are his: his daughter, Melissa Lechler of Fort Worth, TX; and a brother, Wade Coffey and wife Ann of Newland, NC. Several nieces and newphes also survive.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 16, 2009 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2009 from 1:00 PM at the Hollander Cemetery.
