Emma Lee Coffey Trask, 93, of Amarillo died Friday, July 1, 2011, in Amarillo.

She had been a resident of Amarillo since 1979 and a resident of Park Place Towers and Ware Living Center since 2003.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First Baptist Church Chapel with Dr. Howard Batson officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery East. Arrangements are by Cox Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive.

Emma Lee Coffey was born June 21, 1918, to Samuel Matison Coffey and Sarah Elizabeth Coffey in Pottawatomie County, Okla. Her father died in the influenza epidemic of 1918 when she was 6 months old. She graduated from Asher High School in Oklahoma in 1936, and married Rolla Trask on April 30, 1938, in Shawnee, Okla.

Ms. Trask was a member of First Baptist Church and Eddie Edward's Sunday school class.

The family wishes to especially thank the staff of Park Place Towers and Ware Living Center; Wendy Fruscella of BSA Hospice; and the pastors, deacons, Sunday school teachers and members of First Baptist Church for their many visits and kindnesses to the family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; five brothers; and four sisters.

Survivors include two daughters, Meredith Brillhart and Tressia Trask, both of Amarillo; two grandchildren, Christopher Samples and wife DeeAnn of Perryton and Jennifer Lewis and husband Chad of Laverne, Okla.; six great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Norvel Trask and wife Vela of Dallas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on today at the funeral home.

The family requests memorials be to First Baptist Church, 1208 S. Tyler St., Amarillo TX 79100-166.

Emma Lee Coffey and Rolla B. Trask were married on 30 April 1938 in Shawnee, Pottawatomie Co., OK. Rolla B. Trask was born on 12 August 1908. Rolla died in Amarillo, Potter Co., TX on 11 November 1991 and was buried at Llano Cemetery in Amarillo, Randall Co., TX on 14 November 1991 .30515
