Jean Coffey, 90 of Huntington passed away at 10:07 p.m. on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Tipton Place in Huntington. She was a 1946 graduate of Manual High School in Peoria, Illinois. Jean loved church and was a faithful Sunday school teacher for many years. She worked in various food service positions in the Peoria area and spent time employed at a printing company as well.

Jean was born on Jan. 1, 1928 and was the daughter of Goldie Palonus and Forest Wood.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Duane Coffey.

Loving survivors include: Bob (son) and Julie Coffey, Ron (son) and Gia Coffey. Grandchildren Kelly (granddaughter) and Gary Ballman and Blair (granddaughter) and Carson Songe, Aaron (grandson) Coffey, Austin (grandson) and Bekah Coffey Great grandchildren Tanner Songe, Oliver Songe, and Ryland Coffey.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 24, 2018 from 3-7 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington.

A funeral service will be held in Peoria, Illinois with burial to follow at the Parkview Cemetery in Peoria, Illinois.
