Truman E. Coffee, 76, of Jane, Mo., died Monday, Dec. 29, 2003, at his home following an illness. He was born March 7, 1927, in McDonald County, Mo., to Samuel Hice Coffee and Nora Gertrude Ford Coffee.

He had lived most of his life in McDonald County. He married Cleva E. Stephens on July 8, 1950, in Bentonville, Ark. He was a cattle rancher. After retiring, he ran an antique shop in Jane for eight years. He was a member of the Centerton Baptist Church in Centerton, Ark. He enjoyed traveling.

He was preceded in death by four brothers, Earl, Harvey, Price and Ralph; and three sisters, Velma, Vaude and Maude.

Survivors include his wife, Cleva E. Coffee; three daughters and two sons-in-law, twins Sherry Coffee and Shanna Hardin, and her husband Kevin Hardin, all of Tulsa, Okla., and Leann Stephenson and her husband John Stephenson of Bella Vista, Ark.; a son, John Coffee of Jane; a sister, Olidean Edwards of Pineville, Mo.; six grandchildren, Katie Hardin of Bloomington, Ind., Brandee Santos of Eleele, Hawaii, Travis Bartley of Muskogee, Okla., Sara Bartley of Rogers, Ark., Vaughn Coffee of Centerton, Ark., and Alex Patterson of Tulsa; four greatgrandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 1, at Ozark Funeral Home of Anderson, Mo.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 1, at Ozark Funeral Home with the Rev. Tom McDonald and the Rev. Bob Edwards.

Cremation arrangements are by the Bella Vista Crematory of Bella Vista, Ark.

Honorary pallbearers will be Kent Coffee, Phillip Eberley, Tim Marrs, Fred Coffee, Aaron Coffee, Darrel Coffee, Robert Bontke, Sam Baker, Marilyn Henson, Johnny Horton, Larry Shell, Norman Keene and Jeff Coffee.
