He is survived by his wife, Linda Coffey[,] special grandson, that he raised as his own, Brandon Coffey[;] stepson, Pete (Mindy) Coffey[;] Stepdaughter, Michelle (Mike) Atkins[;] grandchildren, Allen (Tabitha) Barnard; Christina and Angela Atkins, Thomas Coffey[;] brother Howard (Tammy) Coffey[;] sister Penny Wilmoth[;] nephew, Marty Wilmoth; niece, Nacole [sic] Coffey and a host of other relatives and friends. The family received friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Saturday, July 6, 2013, at Coffey Funeral Home in New Tazewell, Tenn. Funeral service was at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 7, 2013, at the Coffey Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Grant Vaughn and Rev. Curt Reed officiating. Singers: Descendants Through Grace. Burial in the Coffey Cemetery with Ricky Coffey, Scott Coffey, Mike Coffey, James Coffey, Brian Carpenter and Dewayne "Woody" Neely serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers: Christina Atkins, Angela Atkins, Nacole Coffey, Tabitha Barnard and Kimmy Dalton.
