However, the pension application packet for Wm. and Mary contains an affidavit made by Albert Coffey in March 1914 concerning the Civil War widow's pension for Mary A. (Polly) Coffey who was deceased on Dec. 14, 1913. It states that she was taken care of by Albert Coffey and family and signed by Albert Coffey, son of William Allen Coffey. In a Record of Deed dated Apr. 7, 1895 William Allen sold land in Camden county to some of his children; thirty-eight acres to Albert Coffey and family. The record was signed by Albert Coffey. Albert died cardiac decompensation on 30 March 1947 at the age of 76 at Mrs. Ingold's Nursing Home in West Plains, Howell Co., MO and was buried at Kansas City, Jackson Co., MO in April 1947. Coffey and Josephine Ragsdale were married on 12 March 1893 in Miller Co., MO.25861 They25861 appeared in the census on 19 April 1910 in Jackson Twp., Camden Co., MO.25862 They25862 appeared in the census on 8 January 1920 in Marionville, Lawrence Co., MO.25863 Josephine Ragsdale, daughter of Harve Ragsdale, was born on 28 June 1872 in Illinois. Josephine died of a coronary thrombosis on 18 August 1938 at the age of 66 at at home in Kansas City, Jackson Co., MO and was buried at Green Lawn Cemetery in Kansas City, Jackson Co., MO on 20 August 1938.25864,25865 Albert C.
