NARVIN WAYNE "BOB" COFFEY, 90, died Saturday, September 17, 2005, in Graham. Funeral is scheduled Thursday, September 22, 2005, at 10:00 a.m. in the Morrison Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Edgar Jones officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, in Zephyr Cemetery in Zephyr, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Mr. Coffey was born October 3, 1914, in Zephyr, Texas, to John Narvin and Mollie (Couch) Coffey. He served in the U.S. Army Calvary during World War II and later joined the U.S. Air Force and served in the Korean Conflict. He retired from the Air Force as a Lt. Colonel in 1958.

He married Bonifa Williams on April 11, 1941, in El Paso, Texas. She preceded him in death on October 27, 1994. Mr. Coffey moved to Graham in 1990 from Rialto, California. He was a member of Aztec Masonic Lodge #3 in Las Cruces, New Mexico, a member of the American Legion, former member of Rialto, California Kiwanis Club and Lions Club, and a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Graham.

Survivors include: son, Charles Coffey and wife, Carla of Graham; grandson, Chris Coffey and wife, Annette; granddaughter, Diana Tuttle and husband, Dexter; five great grandchildren, Evan Jiminez, Storm Hindle, Zack Tuttle, Ashley Coffey and Jarod Coffey all of Yucaipa, California; brother, Lee Clayton "Pu d" Coffey of Plainview.

Mr. Coffey was preceded in death by a great grandson, Stephen Tuttle, two sisters, Eddie Jessie Coffey and Effie Pearl Jones, two brothers, John Pleas "Bud" Coffey and William Lynn Coffey.

Memorials may be made to the Bethel Baptist Church, 209 Tennessee Street, Graham, Texas 76450.

LTC Narvin Wayne "Bob" Coffey and Bonifa A. "Boni" Williams were married on 11 April 1941 in El Paso Co., CO. Bonifa A. "Boni" Williams, daughter of Russell B. Williams and Lanie R. , was born in October 1913 in Grandfalls, Ward Co., TX. She lived with her parents in Ward Co., TX on 28 April 1930. Bonifa died on 27 October 1994 at the age of 81 in Graham, Young Co., TX and was buried at Zephyr Cemetery in Zephyr, Brown Co., TX.24897,24898,24899

GRAHAM - Bonifa "Boni" Coffey, a retired Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. operator, died Thursday at a Graham hospital. She was 81. 

Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Morrison Funeral Home in Graham. 

Burial: 2 p.m. in Zephyr Cemetery in Zephyr. 

Mrs. Coffey was born in Grand Falls and moved to Graham from Rialto, Calif., four years ago. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Rialto. 

Survivors: Husband, Narvin W. Coffey of Graham; son, Charles M. Coffey of Graham; two brothers, Amos Williams of Murray and Llewelyn Williams of Lago Vista; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
