Mrs. Edith Mildred Grobmyer of Wynne died Thursday, May 4, at her home in Poplar Acres. She was 56 years of age.

She was a registered nurse and had been employed at Forrest Memorial Hospital in Forrest City. Until 1971, she was night supervisor at Cross County Hospital.

She was born in Baxter County, Ark., September 11, 1915. She was a member of the Catholic Church.

She leaves her husband, Harold Grobmyer of Staten Island, N.Y.; one son, Harold Grobmyer Jr. of Forrest City; two daughters, Miss Celie Grobmyer and Mrs. Nannie Nichols, both of West Memphis and two sisters, Mrs. Irene Young and Mrs. Helen Taylor, both of Hayward, Calif.

Bible reading service was Friday evening at Kernodle Funeral Chapel and the funeral service was Saturday morning at St. Peter's Catholic Church with Rev. John O'Donnell officiating. Burial was in Cogbill Cemetery.

Edith Mildred Coffey and Harold Evans Grobmyer were married. Harold Evans Grobmyer was born on 6 March 1914 in Forrest City, St. Francis Co., AR. Harold died in Staten Island, Richmond Co., NY on 28 September 1975 and was buried at Forrest Park Cemetery in Forrest City, St. Francis Co., AR on 2 October 1975 .35273
