10102. Folcie Frances Painter was born on 29 April 1897 in Nelson Co., VA. Folcie died on 15 November 1979 at the age of 82 at Waynesboro Community Hospital in Waynesboro, Independent City, VA and was buried at Mount Carmel Presbyterian Cemetery in Steeles Tavern, Augusta Co., VA on 17 November 1979.³⁰⁰⁸²

Mrs. Folcie, Frances Fitzgerald, 82, of 132 S. Delphine Ave. died at 12:45 a.m. yesterday in Waynesboro Community Hospital. Mrs. Fitzgerald was born in Nelson County on April 26, 1897, a daughter of the late David Edward and Sarah Frances Coffey Painter.

She was a member of Mt. Joy Presbyterian Church, Route 1, Raphine. She was preceded in death by her husband Allen Gee Fitzgerald, Jan. 15, 1973. She is survived by four sons, Allen L. Fitzgerald and Robert Ralph Fitzgerald, both of Waynesboro, Thomas M. Fitzgerald of Stuarts Draft and Bruce W. Fitzgerald, of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; three daughters, Mrs. Tracy H. (Lucille) Cash of Raphine, Mrs. Ervin H. (Ida) Boyd of Stuarts Draft and Mrs. Beatrice Higgins of Herndon; one brother, A. T. Painter of Lanham, Md.; one sister, Mrs. Bessie Phillips of Amherst; 31 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the chapel of the Etter Funeral Home,conducted by the Rev. John Thompson, pastor of Mt. Joy Presbyterian Church, with burial in Carmel Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Steele's Tavern. Active pallbearers will be grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The body will remain at the Etter Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 this evening.

Folcie Frances Painter and Allen Gee "Tobie" Fitzgerald were married. Allen Gee "Tobie" Fitzgerald was born on 19 April 1893 in Virginia. Allen died in Virginia on 15 January 1973 and was buried at Mount Carmel Presbyterian Cemetery in Steeles Tavern, Augusta Co., VA in January 1973 .
