This is probably the Thomas Coffey of Caldwell Co. who was killed on Aug. 12, 1863 at Gettysburg, PA. He had enlisted on Mar. 20, 1862 at the age of 27 into Co. F., 26th Inf. Regt, NC.

She appeared in the census on 13 June 1900 in Lower Creek Twp., Caldwell Co., NC.⁵⁸³⁷ She appeared in the census on 28 April 1910 in Lower Creek Twp., Caldwell Co., NC.⁵⁸³⁸ Manda appeared in the census on 22 January 1920 in Lower Creek Twp., Caldwell Co., NC.⁵⁸³⁹ She appeared in the census on 21 April 1930 in Lower Creek Twp., Caldwell Co., NC.⁵⁸⁴⁰ Manda died of old age on 31 August 1930 at the age of 88 at home in Lower Creek, Caldwell Co., NC and was buried at Tabernacle Advent Church Cemetery in Lenoir, Caldwell Co., NC on 1 September 1930.^5841,5842

Miss Sarah Coffey

Lenoir, April 28.--Funeral was held today for Miss Sarah Ann Coffey, 88, who died yesterday at the home of a nephew, J. B. Teeters. The services were held at Tabernacle Advent Christian Church and burial was in the church cemetery.
