Opal Coffey, 65, Muncie, Ind., died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 1991, at Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie, Ind.

Funeral services were 2 p.m. Saturday at the chapel of McCreary County Funeral Home with the Revs. Robert Patrick and Billy Patrick officiating. Burial was in Methodist Cemetery.

Born Sept. 24, 1926, in Barren Fork, Ky., she was a daughter of the late John and Minnie West Lynch. She was a homemaker.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Claude Coffey; a son; three brothers and a sister.

Survivors include four sons, Danny, Doyle, Donald and Darius Coffey, all of Leesville, La.; a daughter, Deborah Eads, Muncie, Ind.; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Leo and John Lynch, Jr., both of Whitley City; a sister, Betty Smith, Cumming, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.

McCreary County Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
