Lenville Clark age 66 years, 4 months, and 4 days of Whitley City, Kentucky passed away Sunday, September 12, 2010 at his home.

Funeral services were held Thursday, September 16, 2010 at 1:00 pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Kenny Hill & Bro. John Duvall officiating. Burial followed in the Sherd Dobbs cemetery.

He was born May 8, 1944 in Stearns, Kentucky to Raymond Clark and Darkie Coffey Clark. Lenville had previously served as a Deacon at White Oak Junction United Baptist Church and had been a heavy equipment operator for Hinkle Contracting before his retirement. He was a vivid [sic] [avid] outdoor lover, who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. Lenville enjoyed watching UK basketball and spending time with his family. He was also an Army Veteran serving in Viet Nam.

Preceding him in death are his parents and sister, Rayma Dean Pierce.

Survivors include his wife, Stella Clark of Strunk, Kentucky, daughters, Kim Hembree and her husband, Archie, of Oneida, Tennessee, Michelle Taylor and her husband, Gerald, of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, Shonda Webb and her husband, John, of Oneida, Tennessee, and Stacey Foster of Knoxville, Tennessee, a brother, Faron Clark and his wife, Melinda, of Stearns, Kentucky, sisters, Glenna Parks and her husband Rankin, of Bronston, Kentucky, Reba Heath and her husband Lonnie, of Stearns, Kentucky, Kay Dick, Ila Bruce, and Wanda Gibson and her husband, Damon, all of Whitley City, Kentucky, grandchildren, Whitney Barnett and her husband Jonathan, Garrett Taylor, Trevor Stevens, Dillion Foster, Gavin Webb, Evein Taylor, and Sydney Foster.
