Edith Louise Coffey Rawley, 89, of Front Royal, VA died on Sunday, October 31, 2010 at The Southerlands.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 5, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church conducted by Rev. Richard Carr. Interment will follow in Panorama Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Rawley was born April 3, 1921 in Piney River, VA, daughter of the late Charles Franklin Coffey and Georgia Ann Campbell Coffey. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church in Front Royal. Mrs. Rawley was married to the late Weldon Newton Rawley, Jr.

Surviving are two daughters Susan R. Stevens of Canandaigua, NY and Catherine I. Llamana of Warrenton, VA; three sons Robert W. Rawley of Simpsonville, SC, Thomas C. Rawley of Cambridge, Ontario, Canada, and Michael J. Rawley of Manassas Park, VA; one sister Lyndall McCloud of Charlottesville, VA; one brother Carlton Coffey of Fairfax, VA; 14 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 4, from 7:00- 9:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 West Cork St., Winchester, VA 22601.

Edith Louise Coffey and Weldon Newton Rawley Jr. were married. Weldon Newton Rawley Jr. was born in 1920. Weldon Jr. died in 2005 at the age of 85 in Virginia and was buried at Panorama Memorial Gardens and Mausoleums in Waterlick, Warren Co., VA.28681
