COFFEY, DAVID LAWRENCE, JR., 67, Route 3, Harriman, died Friday morning July 2, 1993 in the Harriman City Hospital.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Mary Ruby Coffey and son Joseph Coffey and father Lawrence W. Coffey.

Surviving are his wife Mrs. Jo Ann Bandy Coffey; sons Terry Mitchell Coffey, Wartburg, Stanley Coffey, Harriman, and Daniel Gregory Coffey, Oakdale. Daughter, Lois Ann Coffey, Wartburg; Mother, Essie Edwards Coffey, Oakdale; brothers Leonard Coffey of Wartburg and Franklin Coffey of Rockwood; sisters Helen Conner of Oakdale, Nellie Everett, Harriman, Wanda Abston, Kingston and Linda Kilby, Harriman.
Also surviving are six grandchildren and Aunt Myrtle Qualls of Rockwood.
Funeral services were Saturday, July 3, 1993 in Schubert Funeral Home Chapel, Wartburg. Graveside serviceswere Sunday in Crab Orchard Cemetery, Oakdale,Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg in charge of services. [Source: Benna J.; no explanation why he is a Jr.]

David Lawrence Coffey Jr. and Wilma Joann Bandy were married. Wilma Joann Bandy was born on 21 June 1934 in McMinn Co., TN. Wilma died on 24 September 1999 at the age of 65 in Morgan Co., TN and was buried at Niota Cemetery in Niota, McMinn Co., TN.³³⁰⁴³
