MOULTON -- Funeral services for James Hollis COffey, 59, Moulton 2, who died Wednesday in a Moulton hospital, were to be today at 2:30 p.m. at Liberty Methodist Church, Rev. G.H. Terry officiating, with burial in Moulton Memory Gardens, Elliott Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Allie Coffey, Moulton; a sister, Mrs. Jane Owens, Moulton; two brothers, Gwyn Coffey, Burn Coffey, both of Moulton; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were to be nephews.

Mr. Coffey, a veteran of World War II, was a member of Liberty Methodist Church.

The body was to remain at the funeral home until an hour before services. 

James Hollis Coffey and Allie Sissie Wilkerson were married on 20 July 1935 in Lawrence Co., AL.³²⁹⁷⁷ Allie Sissie Wilkerson was born on 26 January 1919 in Alabama. Allie died on 30 May 1993 at the age of 74 at Lawrence County Hospital in Moulton, Lawrence Co., AL and was buried at Memory Gardens in Moulton, Lawrence Co., AL.³²⁹⁷⁸

MOULTON -- Mrs. Allie W. Coffey, 74, died Sunday, May 30, 1993, at Lawrence County Hospital, Moulton.

She was a member of Liberty Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school for 40 years. She was retired from Lawrence Corp. after 20 years.

The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Liberty Methodist Church with the Rev. Mike Griggs officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens, Lawrence Funeral Home is directing.

Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Survivors include sisters, Erma Coffey, Louise Early, Faye Hill, all of Moulton, Lillian Bradley, Decatur.

Bearers will be Jim Waldrop, Greg Coffey, W.L. Early, Allen Early, Dale Jeffreys and Scott Hill.
