Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 12:30 until 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Coffey, who died Sunday, July 12, 2009, at Floyd E. Tut Fann State Veterans Home, was born Sept. 20, 1923, in Wheeler to Martin Dee Coffey and Mary Laconia Hamilton Coffey. He was retired from Monsanto. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Lucille Coffey; son, Donald Coffey; four daughters, Linda Atkins, Judy Casey, Carol Poteete and Cindy Drake; stepdaughter, Janet Johnson; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
