Funeral for Billy Joe "B.J." Coffey, 76, of Hillsboro was Friday, Nov. 2, 2007, at 2 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with William "Bill" Pullen officiating. 

Burial was in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. 

Mr. Coffey, who died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007, at Huntsville Hospital, was born March 2, 1931, in Lawrence County to Clarence and Mable Coffey. He was a retired crane operator. He was preceded in death by his son, Jackie Glenn Coffey; and two brothers, Clarence Coffey and Hollis Coffey. 

Survivors include his wife, Rayburn Coffey; two sons, Billy Ray "Butch" Coffey of Lawrenceville, Ga., and Ronald Wade "Ronnie" Coffey of Hillsboro; two daughters, Vivian "Tootie" Alred Boutwell of Decatur and Karen "Bubbles" Shepard of Florence; seven brothers, Chap Coffey and Dwight Coffey, both of Moulton, Dago Coffey of Lillian, Stan Coffey of Tanner, Roland Coffey of Trinity, Pee Wee Coffey of Hillsboro and M.A. Coffey of Tennessee; two sisters, Fran Green of Hillsboro and Jean Roden of Trinity; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. 

His grandsons served as pallbearers.

Charles "Chap" Coffey, 80, of Moulton, died July 13, 2013, at NHC in Moulton. He was born in Lawrence County on March 24, 1933, to Clarence and Mable Darnell Coffey. He was preceded in death by his sons Robbie, Terry (Spanky), and Mark Coffey; brothers, Clarence Jr, Hollis, Billy Joe, and Milford Coffey.

Visitation will be tonight at Parkway Funeral Home from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with service at 8 p.m. Burial will be in Morris Chapel Cemetery. The service will be officiated by Colby Junkin and directed by Parkway Funeral Home.

He is survived by one son, Tom Blevins, Hillsboro; one daughter Sherry Mason, Long Beach, CA; five brothers, Roland Coffey, of Trinity, Stanley, M A Coffey, both of Moulton, Willard Coffey, Hillsboro, and Dwight Coffey, Decatur; two sisters, Jean Roden, Falkville, and Frances Green, Hillsboro; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and Trudy Bradford a special friend for 12 years.

Pallbearers will be Rodney Blevins, Justin Sappington, Matt Green, Steve Roden, Colton Naron, and Cody Coffey.

Milford Lee "Dago" Coffey was born on 27 November 1940 in Lawrence Co., AL. Milford died in Lillian, Baldwin Co., AL on 13 March 2013. His place of burial was not given in his obituary.17975
