The funeral for Mrs. Eva Mae Parker, 77, Route 3, Moulton, will be at 2 p.m. today at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Moulton, with the Rev. Jackie Shelton officiating. Burial will be in Montgomery Cemetery, Lawrence Funeral, Moulton, directing.

She died Thursday at Huntsville Hospital.

Survivors include daughters, Abilene Brooks, Decatur, Jewel Vest, Hartselle; sisters, Mrs. John Clemons, Mrs. Carl Warren, both of Moulton; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

Bearers will be Robert Hester, A.C. Cook, Wyman Warren, Paul Donald Parker, Quinton Warren and R. B. Parker.

E. Floyd Parker

Funeral for E. Floyd Parker, 73, of Moulton 3, who died today at Lawrence County Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Elliott Funeral Home chapel, the Revs. Dan White and Brooks Barkley officiating, with burial in the Montgomery Cemetery, Elliott Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Eva Mae Coffey Parker, Moulton; two daughters Mrs. Abilene Ruscilli, Wilmington, Del., and Mrs. Jewel Vest, Hartselle; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Ada Sewell, Houston, Mrs. Lorene Warren, Decatur, Mrs. Annie D. Fritz and Miss Marcelle Parker, Birmingham; three brothers, Marlin Parker, Arley, Rufus Parker, Moulton, and Gurnie Parker, Houston.

Nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Honorary pallbearers will be Coleman Weinman, Ennis Woodard, Bud Montgomery, Lewis Preston, and Ernest Jackson.

Mr. Parker was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He was a retired brick mason.

The family will receive friends 5:30 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.

Funeral for Abilene Parker Brooks, 83, of Decatur will be today, June 26, 2011, at 4 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home. Burial will be in Montgomery Cemetery in Moulton. Visitation will be from 2:30 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Brooks, who died Friday, June 24, 2011, at Decatur General Hospital, was born September 10, 1927, in Moulton to Floyd Parker and Eva Coffey Parker. She was a member of Central Park Baptist Church and a member of the Decatur Emblem Club, the VFW Auxiliary and American Legion Auxiliary. She retired from Bank of Moulton where she worked for many years.

Survivors include her stepdaughter, Pam Taylor; sister, Jewel P. Vest; nephews, Keith Parker, Tim Parker, Greg Hopkins and Don Hopkins; niece, Janet Yeager; and her great-nieces, June McKay, Judy Riffel and Diane Kelly.

Pallbearers will be nephews.
