MOULTON -- Funeral for Jane Coffey Owen, 72, of Moulton will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Liberty United Methodist Church in Moulton with the Rev. Lynn Terry, the Rev. David Weaver and the Rev. Michael Griggs officiating.

Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens with Elliott Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. The body will be a the church one hour before the funeral.

Mrs. Owen died Sunday at Lawrence County Hospital. She was born Sept. 18, 1922, in Lawrence County. She was a member of Liberty United Methodist Church and a former assistant city clerk of Moulton. Her husband, William F. Owen, and a son, Frankie "Pete" Owen, are dead.

She is survived by one daughter, Janice Owen Letson of Moulton; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Sutton, James Farris, Jimmy Waldrop, Waymon Wallace, Rickey Segars and Jerius Wallace.

W.F. Owen Jr., 60, Moulton, formerly of Sheffield, died Sunday at Lawrence County Hospital, Moulton.

The funeral was at 3 p.m. today at Liberty United Methodist Church, Moulton. Burial was in Moulton Memorial Gardens, Elliott Funeral Home, Moulton, directing.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Jane Owen; daughter, Mrs. Janice Letson, Moulton; sisters, Mrs. Ocil Mosley, Tuscumbia; Mrs. Cleazelle Terry, Moulton; Mrs. Ann Highfill, New Mexico; Mrs. Nelia Travis, Texas; brothers, Libron Owen, Ed Mac Owen, both of Michigan; Bobby Owen, George Owen, both of New Mexico; three grandchildren.
