4381. Rosa Belle Coffey⁵¹⁴³ was born on 21 July 1878 in Lyndhurst, Augusta Co., VA.⁵¹⁵⁹ She lived with her parents in Nelson Co., VA on 22 June 1880. Rosa died on 14 June 1920 at the age of 41 in Lyndhurst, Augusta Co., VA and was buried at Pines Chapel Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Greenville, Augusta Co., VA.^{14164,14165,14166}

"Rosa Belle Coffey was born 21 July 1878 in Augusta County, VA. She was the daughter of Jesse C. Coffey and Nancy F. Allen of nelson County. Shortly after 1880, Rosa moved to Pike County, Ohio with her family. After the murder of her father in August 1887, Rosa returned to Virginia with her mother and siblings.

"She married Robert Oceola (Osie) Nuckols on 4 October 1899 in Alvis, Augusta County, Virginia. Osie was born 24 December 1878 in Augusta County and was the son of Henry Juett Nuckols and Georgianna Miller. Rosa and Osie had the following nine children all born in Augusta County.

"Emily born about 1900 and died in infancy.

"Elmer Juett born 22 May 1904.

"William Hyder born 8 February 1906.

"Annie born 29 January 1908.

"Evelyn Isabel [born] 2 April 1910.

"Henrietta Elizabeth born 10 March 1912.

"Fannie Catharine born 21 August 1913.

"Mary Magadaline born 8 March 1916.

"Margarette Hazel born 15 June 1918.

"Rosa died 14 July 1920 and Osie died 7 July 1933. They are both buried at Pines Chapel Cemetery in Augusta County."

Robert died on 7 July 1933 at the age of 54 in Lyndhurst, Augusta Co., VA and was buried at Greenville, Augusta Co., VA.¹⁴¹⁶⁸

Rosa Belle Coffey and Robert Oceola "Osie" Nuckols had the following children:
