Roy Martin Coffey, 58, of Staunton died Nov. 25 at his home.

A native of Rockbridge County, he was born July 9, 1914 and was the son of the late Jacob Coffey and Mary Lotts Coffey.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Daisey Pooley Coffey; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Vensko of Raleigh, N.C. and Mrs. Gloria Cromer of Front Royal; a stepson, Winford Armstrong of Staunton; three brothers, Saylor Coffey and Alfred Coffey of Natural Bridge and John H. Coffey of Asheboro, N.C.; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Stuart Lotts of Fairfield, Mrs. Florence Bateman of Front Royal, Mrs. Lottie Steed and Mrs. Ella Clem of Front Royal, and four grandchildren.

Burial was Nov. 29 in Augusta Memorial Park.

Roy Martin Coffey and Daisy Pearl Pooley were married on 4 April 1953 in Rockbridge Co., VA.29540 Daisy Pearl Pooley, daughter of Robert Pooley and Bertha Ann , was born on 21 December 1917 in Rockbridge Co., VA. Daisy died in Virginia in 2005 and was buried at Augusta Memorial Park in Waynesboro, Independent City, VA in 2005 .29541
