ROCKFISH VALLEY - A funeral service for Mrs. Grace Coffey Campbell, 84, of 1711 Rivermont Ave., Lynchburg, was conducted Monday afternoon in the Diuguid Funeral Home, Lynchburg, with interment in Spring Hill Cemetery there.  She was the widow of Cleveland Grover Campbell.

Mrs. Campbell died Saturday afternoon in Virginia Baptist Hospital, Lynchburg.

Born in Nelson County (August 6, 1887), where she lived until after her marriage, Mrs. Campbell was a daughter of the late Andrew J. and Rebecca Campbell Coffey.  She was a member of Euclid Christian (Disciples of Christ) Church, Lynchburg.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Lawrence (Violet) Allen and Mrs. Jack (Marjory) Weringo, both of Lynchburg; a sister, Mrs. Laura Coffey Meredith of Lynchburg; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

A son, Guy Campbell, and a daughter, Mrs. Beatrice Hadder Wimmer, preceded her in death.

Mrs. Campbell was a sister of the late Rev. H. D. Coffey, who served the Disciples of Christ Churches for more than 50 years. [Dennis Truslow]

LYNCHBURG, April 18 - Cleveland Grover Campbell, 70, retired manager of a wholesale grocery house, died Saturday at his home near Lynchburg.  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Grace M. Coffey Campbell; three daughters, Mrs. Lawrence H. Allen and Mrs. Julius Weringo, both of Lynchburg, and Mrs. Wade H. Hadder, of Richmond, and two sisters, Mrs. Etta Quick, of Waynesboro, and Mrs. Sallie McGann, of Roseland.
