He lived with his brother, Lampkin in Massies Mill, Nelson Co, VA on 22 January 1920. Forrest lived with his sister Lucy Coffey Sprouse in Massies Mill, Nelson Co, VA on 12 April 1930. He lived with his brother Lampkin in Massies Mill, Nelson Co, VA on 10 May 1940. Forrest died of uremia and was buried at on 22 January 1960 at the age of 73 at Community Memorial Hospital in South Hill, Mecklenburg Co., VA and was buried at Hatters Cemetery in Tyro, Nelson Co., VA.13494,13495,13496,13497

Forrest Coffey and Hallie Elizabeth Cage were married on 31 December 1957 in Lunenburg Co., VA.13498 Hallie Elizabeth Cage, daughter of Thomas West Cage and Mary Lee Abbott, was born in 1902 in Halifax Co., VA. Hallie died at Community Memorial Hospital in South Hill, Mecklenburg Co., VA on 5 July 1986 of arteriosclerotic cerebral vascular disease and was buried at Kenbridge Heights Cemetery in Kenbridge, Lunenburg Co., VA on 7 July 1986 .13499,13500

Coffey

Mrs. Hallie Cage Coffey, 84, of Church Street, Kenbridge, widow of Forrest Coffey, died July 5, 1986. She is survived by two brothers, Thaddeus W. Cage of LaCrosse and R. B. Cage of South Hill; a number of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Coffey was a retired school teacher, having taught for 29 years in the public school system. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in the Clarke Funeral Home, Kenbridge. Burial in Kenbridge Cemetery.

A funeral for Mrs. Hallie Cage Coffey, a society columnist for weekly newspapers in South Hill, Kenbridge, Victoria and Blackstone and a former schoolteacher in Mecklenburg County , was held today at Clarke Funeral Home here. Burial was in Kenbridge Cemetery here.

Mrs. Coffey, 84, died Saturday in a South Hill nursing home. She had suffered a stroke in April.

For about 10 years she wrote the column, "Kenbridge RFD," for the South Hill Enterprise, the Kenbridge-Victoria Dispatch and the Blackstone Courier- Record.

Mrs. Coffee was born in Halifax County and graduated in 1924 from Radford Normal School.

She taught in Lunenburg County from 1921 until 1925, in Nottaway County for one year, in Spotsylvania County for four years and in Allegheny County for one year.

From 1937 until 1945, Mrs. Coffey taught fifth, sixth and seventh grades at Montebello Elementary School, a one-room school in the Nelson County system.

She returned to Lunenburg County in 1945 and taught fourth and fifth grades at the former Lochleven Elementary School near South Hill until 1953.

Mrs. Coffey then came to the Mecklenburg County schools and taught at La Crosse Elementary School in La Crosse until 1958.

While teaching in Nelson County, she met Forrest Coffey, whom she married in 1957. He died in 1960.

After his death, Mrs. Coffey worked as an Avon saleslady.

She was a member of Kenbridge Episcopal Church, Woodmen of the World and a local homemakers club.

Survivors include two brothers, Thaddeus W. Cage of La Crosse and Roy Burch Cage of South Hill.
