Doris Coffey Korioth died on April 17, 2012, after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Korioth was born in Ravenna, Fannin County, Texas in January 1934, the daughter of John Simpson Coffey and Dora Ethel Coffey. She was the fourth of five children and their only daughter. She grew up in Sherman and graduated from Sherman High School and later from Austin College. She received her Master's degree in History from Southern Methodist University.

Mrs. Korioth was married on April 11, 1953, to Andrew Alfred Korioth III, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sherman. Mr. Korioth died in 1997, and Mrs. Korioth continued to live at the family farm until shortly before her death. They raised four children together, Andrew Alan, Mary Ellen, Susan Clare, and James Glenn, who survive them along with seven grandchildren.

Mrs. Korioth is also survived by her younger brother, Ted Coffey of Whitewright, his wife Velda, their three children, and five other nieces and nephews. She was buried on April 20, 2012, in accord with her wishes, at St. Mary's Cemetery alongside her husband.

Arrangements are were under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman.

Eva Doris Coffey and Andrew Alfred Korioth III were married on 11 April 1953 at St. Marys Catholic Church in Sherman, Grayson Co., TX. Andrew Alfred Korioth III was born on 29 December 1929 in Paris, Lamar Co., TX. Andrew died in Sherman, Grayson Co., TX on 26 December 1997 and was buried at Saint Marys Cemetery in Sherman, Grayson Co., TX in December 1997 .25278,25279
