Maxine Vickers, 81, retired principal and educator, died Monday. Services 2 p.m. Friday, Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel. Butler-Stumpff, Tulsa.

Maxine Coffey and Barney Cleveland Arender were married on 31 July 1938 in Sebastian Co., AR.47560 Barney Cleveland Arender, son of Henry M. Arender and Martha Hester Kennedy, was born on 5 October 1914 in Mississippi. Barney resided with his parents in Grant Parish, LA on 16 January 1920. Barney resided with his parents in Madison Parish, LA on 11 April 1930. Barney died in Slidell, St. Tammany Parish, LA on 3 May 1991 and was buried at Biloxi National Cemetery in Biloxi, Harrison Co., MS in May 1991 .47561,47562

Louis Bernard "Barney" Arender was born on 27 September 1940 in Stillwater, Payne Co., OK. Louis died at Integris Grove General Hospital in Grove, Delaware Co., OK on 12 June 2011. A memorial service for "Barney" was held in Grove, Delaware Co., OK on 24 July 2011.

"Louis Bernard 'Barney' Arender, age 70, died peacefully on Sunday, June 12, 2011 at the Integris Grove General Hospital in Grove, Oklahoma.

"Barney was born on September 27, 1940 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. He was the son of Barney C. Arender and Maxine (Coffey) Arender-Vickers. Barney graduated from the University of Texas with a BA in Business Administration and went to work on Wall Street. He spent many years as a commodities broker with Merrill Lynch in Dallas, before moving to Australia. Barney lived in Australia for 15 years where he became a financial executive with IBM, hotel owner, sapphire miner and computer visionary. He relocated to the Grove area twenty years ago from Washington State, where he had spent several years hiking, exploring, and writing and publishing travel books. 

"Barney was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his son Peter Arender of Barbados, two grandchildren Jackson and Lucas Arender, five brothers Jim Arender, Eric Arender, Max Vickers, Bob Vickers and Jack Vickers. 

"A memorial service for Barney will be held at 4:00pm on July 24th at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, Oklahoma.

Maxine Coffey and Jack L. Vickers were married. Jack L. Vickers was born on 6 June 1904 in Missouri. Jack died in Tulsa, Tulsa Co., OK on 16 July 1984 and was buried at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, Tulsa Co., OK in July 1984 .47563
